While going on my walks around NYC I am always looking out for cool things to see, and recently i noticed there are many cool clocks all over the city so in this post I will share a couple I have come across.
This first one is in a little park on 64th and Broadway, surrounded by a little garden and some seating around it, it was pretty quiet when I was there early morning but i do wonder how busy it gets during the day

This second on is on 5th Ave has a classic Style and to me looked quite cool, but it does make me wonder with smart watches, cellphones and the likes these days I wonder how many people even notice these clocks yet alone look at them.

Strangely, although the digital clock on my desktop's taskbar should have been sufficient I prefer to look at the clock on the wall when I want to know the time.
I guess there are some people, like me, who still look at clocks. The time looks more real on a clock!
Actually now that you mention it at work I am the same I have a wall clock I always use to check the time but the rest if the time I check my smart watch
Funny how I have this habit at work only

@tattoodjay of you look at the people in the photo of the second clock they’re all looking ahead or on their phones... I suspect they don’t notice the clocks or anything else really around them.
exactly I was people watching here fir a couple of minutes and I would bet not one person even noticed the clock was there
I think the clock is perfect if the photo when the sun sets or rises.

They are pretty cool looking!! Do they all keep time? I used to admire a street clock near here for the longest time but it would keep breaking down and I guess maintenance gave up on fixing it after so many tries..sad..but it's still cool looking.
Most of them do, I did notice a couple that were at one stage stopped so now I do check to see and i cannot remember the last time I saw one of these clocks at a wrong time, well they all are within a few minutes of the right time
That's very good. I rarely even think to look for the time on my phone..old habits!! ;)
I at work have a wall clock that I use all the time for checking the time, but for the rest its my watch I check, seldom if ever do I check the time on my phone
