Sun Thursday at Gulf Beach
I wanted to join SunThursday - led by @lizanomadsoul and initiated by @uwelang again this week as I have missed it for a while and today I will share a couple of shots of sunset at Gulf Beach here in Milford

I haven't caught a sunset at the beach this year yet, well it is only 3 days into the year so that in itself would not be too bad, but I haven't caught a sunset for a few weeks actually for a variety of reasons So I instead strolled through my photo folders and revisited a visit to Gulf Beach last year for these shots.
This shot was taken standing on the pier and looking across the beach, and the sun isn't clearly visible, but you can see its effect breaking through the clouds and glowing on the water.

And another shot from the same time standing on the beach, I do love a sunset with the warm glow on the water.
Fingers crossed the weather and other activities will align for me and allow me to get to the beach to catch a sunrise soon it really is soothing for me and gets my thoughts into Synch

Very nice! This reminds me of some of the pictures my dad took when we visited Bar Harbor, Maine. He got some really great sunrise and sunset photos. He almost broke his leg for the sunrise ones, walking down to the beach in the dark to beat it :)
Sunsets by the water are the best I think, Your dad and I have something in common then, a year or two back trying t get to the right angle for a shot I slide down a bank and didnt break anything but sprain my ankle badly

Timing sunrise pictures is fun....I think it really happens quickly when you watch. The whole scene changes right before your eyes.
Yes indeed i do love sunrise and sunsets you can never be sure what you will see and it can change so quickly

IndeedI remember this night I thought I wasnt going to see any color as the sun was hidden behind the clouds, but for just a coupe of minutes it broke through like this and then was gone again
Great sunset. Sun under clouds always creates great shots
THis was a funny night i thought the sun was going to stay hidden behind the dark clouds and was just enjoying. Walking the beach and then suddenly it broke through for a couple of minutes and I got these shots then it was hidden again, Nature is pretty magical like that
