Seasons Greetings to all my friends
I decided to pop on today to wish all my friends on here seasons greetings, Happy Holidays and for those who celebrate Christmas a very Merry Christmas our sis aboutto start shortly everyoneinthe house is sleeping but me so doing this quick post expecting one of the grandkids to be awake anytime soon even though we were up to about 1AM last night
And this can also count as my post for Tree Tuesday hosted by @old-guy-photos

I return to the Rockefeller Centre for this post and start with a couple of Trees one small one and of course the huge main tree at the Centre. I choose to return here with this posts as it had some photos which relate to my thoughts at this time.
Starting with what many enjoy at Christmas the decorations and color that come with the time peole putting into decorating there home for visitors over the holidays, or if not for visitors just because they enjoy the tree

And this second shot is for those who love the Christmas carols such as hark the herald angels sing which always comes to mind when I see the Angel Trumpeters from this view, I do get a little tired of all the Christmas music playing in stores and such at this period it seems they start with it every year earlier and earlier, but I do have a few favorite songs I love hearing on Christmas Eve or Christmas day.
To name just a couple that I always tend to listen to are, Drummer Boy, Joy to the World, and Snoopy's Christmas.
Of course, everyone has there own favorite songs so that make sit fun when in a group with family over Christmas to hear all the songs people pick to play or sing.
Now I must say that the reason I have Joy to the world on my list of Songs is because I find it is what Christmas is about other than the religious side and find with so many people this season brings out cheer and happiness, and the world needs more of that throughout the year.

And a last shot of people skating on the Ice Rick by the Rock,, to me it signifies people doing things together, this time of year is special to me to spend with the family in general but especially our Grandkids, and I hope that is the same for many of you, but at this time I also think and send greetings and warm thoughts to those who for whatever reason cannot be with family and friends at this period.
When I worked in the field for many years I had a few Christmasses in a mission as it was generally rotated fairly who could take leave at that time and although I knew we needed people working it is always a little sad not to be able to be with family at this time.

Yes, those are some of my favourites too! Drummer Boy often makes me cry. Have you heard the Pentatonix versions of the first two?
I also like Silent Night, O Holy Night and although it's not a carol, I'm very fond of The Pogues - Fairy Tale of New York.
We were just listening to some Christmas songs including pentonix and the Pogues ones all great sure fairytale of NY isn’t exactly a Christmas song but I listen to it every year
