Boulder Sunday on the trails
This is a post for Boulder Sunday hosted by @shasta, and this week I will share some boulders I came across walking around Mondo Pond trails
This first Boulder has this black square painted on it, I do wonder if this is because someone had tagged it and the only way or the quickest and cheapest way they could cover up the tag was to paint over it. I think it looks better with the square than with whatever tag may have been there, but it would look a lot better with it just being its natural colors.
Now as I aid in my previous Boulder Sunday post I have no problem with graffiti when it is done well, or when it is tagging in an old or abandoned building, but I do not find the logic of why people would want to do it on rocks in a beautiful natural area like this.

This second shot shows the boulder is one of three in this spot on the trail and it is not the only in this spot, and the first one is not the only one that has been painted with a black square the one in the background also has one and someone has tagged on the black square, which confirms to me that the black paint was to cover a tag painted on the rock.

Good for them for painting over the graffiti, especially if it was something that may have been offensive. I rather like seeing creative graffiti, but there are places, like these boulders, where it doesn't belong! Your EL numbers today were incredible. It makes it clear that the PS number is heavily weighted.
Yes although some feel tagging is fine anywhere if it is seen I don’t feel that way in a natural spot like this it annoys me personally

I am going to be making some changes in my focus on steemit starting this week sometime and that will drop my numbers across the board I think 🤔

Awesome boulders all in a row, shadows and roots.
My first thought was they patched up the old holes
of a anchor or grinding stone lol Lovely edit so beautiful!
We have found rocks on the beach with square and other
shapes of other rocks naturally in them.
