My Actifit Report Card: August 4 2019
a couple of beaches to start the day
For this evenings acifit post I share some photos taken with my iPhone on an early morning walk this morning
I was wide awake a little early this morning at about 4AM and decided at a little before 5 to head to the beach I started at Walnut Beach which is one of my favorite beaches in the morning there were some nice colors in the sky but you must be getting bored with all the sunrise shots so I tried to show something different with my shots this morning.
As for my activity, this morning 10K of it was at the beaches this morning and the rest is a little shopping and activity around the place when I had my phone with me, the activity I have not been doing much of is time on my computer editing photos or preparing posts, as sitting on my computer chair I sit in a position that seem sot be aggravating my little hernia, its not a big deal or painful, but great a lot of gas which is not ideal when working ion the office as I will be tomorrow so avoiding it for the most part today, so I may be a bit slack for posting this week or commenting until this passes which I know it will :)
And having said that my first shot does show some sunrise colors but the focus here is on the Boardwalk bridge over one of the little tributaries running out to the sound

Now I switch Beaches, when I was walking back and forth I noticed a few people setting up for some fun run and event which I found out was being hosted by the Boys and Girls Club of Milford, and I noticed a sign which said the car park was closed from 7AM through to 10AM, now as Much as I love the beach I didn't want to be stuck there for so long, so I decided to head to Fort Trumbull beach to get the 1K or so steps I needed to hit the 7K goal that I was planning on this morning and I start with this shot looking out to Charles Island with some seagrass I guess it may be called growing in the foreground, this shot was taken from up on the road level.

Then I walked down one of the sets of the step and took this shot looking along the beach

I then walked along the beach, the funny thing is walking I feel a lot better at the moment so I totallt forgot i only planned to get up to 77K steps here and had a nice stroll back and forth along the beach.

And a last shot along the beach, showing some of the boats anchored just off the beach I am guessing they are most likely owned by some of the property owners along this beach

Not a single person in sight, seems like it really pays off to start walking that early in the morning. Hope it wasn't too cold, but doesn't look like it from those pictures :)
Not to cold at all I think it was 70F when I started walking at 5Am and was quite pleasant I must say, and as for the lack of people thats why I love going that early hardly ever other people there for at least the first half hour and it is so peaceful and relaxing
I love all the rocks lined up in Trumbell, just like little soldiers! It makes for such an interesting picture!
The soft entry of the morning in these shots is beautiful. The colors are lovely and add a touch of peace to the day! Thank you for starting my day out so wonderful.

Those little islands are pretty awesome. I bet it is a popular place to go if you have a little boat and you want to relax. I guess it depends on if they are public land or privately owned...
The Island is Public property but has bene ravaged with some insects and such and the trees are in a rough shape at the moment sot her eis a ban fro going on it as they try to hep it recover, but i know many ignore that and still go out on boats or walk out Nd around the Island over the sand bar
