My Actifit Report Card: July 13 2019
A morning walk
Good evening everyone, I am sharing a few shots taken today with my iPhone for my Actifit post,
This morning I woke at my normal time and decided to head to Walnut Beach for a walk to get my steps in for the day and took a few shots for this actifit post.
But before I get to those, as much as I enjoyed my walk this morning and had done enough to achieve the 10K before 10AM to use the Automaticwin tag, I was a bit frustrated with the photos I took with my Sony Camera as I noticed this morning a lot of spots on my sensor so I focused more on walking than on taking photos.
How bad were the spots you may ask so let me show you

This shot shows the spots oneis hard to miss and is big but if you look closely you will notice many spots on this shot, I could edit them out in photoshop but left them in to show how many there were.
I cleaned the sensor when I got home and found that big one was on the lens and that is also cleaned as is the sensor so hopefully tomorrow morning will be a nice sunrise and I can take shots with my Sony.

Interesting. I would have guessed all the spots were on the lens. Was it on the sensor for real? I wonder how that happened. I am very crazy about keeping mine sealed at all time. Even changing lenses is like a pit stop crew!
The big spot and a couple of the smaller ones were on the lens, the small ones which may be hard to see on that photo were on the sensor,
I am normally very careful with changing my lenses, normally head indoors or back tot he car to do it, I know where it probably happened I was walking onthe boardwalk and saw an eagle which had just caught a fish, when I had my wide lens on, so I stopped and quickly changed lens hoping to get a shot, probably got the dust on the sensor then, and to top it off the eagle flew off in the opposite direction from me and I didn't even get a shot of it
Well cleaning the sensor is that something you do or the camera does? I know Ben's Canon says it is cleaning the sensor. I have never done it on mine before.
Whenever I turn the camera off I have it set to vibrate the sensor which shakes of some dust but not all, I clean it manually when it gets spots, always very carefully with a swab thingy so far so good and have not damaged it

I agree the view is nice, its all the spots my camera was adding that was annoying to me, but now the camera sensor and lenses are all cleaned up (I hope)
