My Actifit Report Card: July 3 2019

Coffee Shots and people

Good evening everyone, I am sharing a few random shots taken today for my Actifit post, I had a fairly busy day with a couple of important meetings so Did not get out for a photo walk as such today, I do not think I took a single shot with my actual camera today which is unusual for me, but took some snaps with my phone while walking

Starting with this shot of this small Coffee shot container sitting on top of one of these Protective barriers outside Grand Central

My Initial thought was its such a small container why couldn’t the person who left t there have carried it probably at most half a block to drop it into a rubbish bin, but as it happened it did lead me to a kind of theme for todays shots which is people, use there is only people in the background the first shot, but when I walked to the corner I saw these people giving away Porto Coffee shots outside on of the exits from Grand Central, and turned down the Coffee shot they offered, I hve never been a coffee drinker and cannot stand the smell let alone the taste

Now people giving away something free outside Grand Central is pretty common, as a form of advertising I guess to get some recognition for their product and hope people will then start buying it, I have sene all kinds of things being given away including Shampoo and condition, Nuts and candy's drinks etc etc etc.
But this next shot although of giving away something free is for a couple of the free morning papers in the City AM New York and Metro

And here are a bunch of people queued up for a drink and or something to eat at one of the many street side vendors around the city

All I all it was a busy but good day :)

Ha! Over here the justification for littering is that they pay taxes for the street cleaners to keep the areas clean. Faulty reasoning or self justification?

I suspect just self justification the same here most of the buildings in Manhattan do a good job of cleaning up around their building so probably people feel the same, it is no problem to leave it but it does Irk me
I did put that one into the trash after taking the shot

Oooohhhhh, you're getting good at your people shots... so many too.... :D
I can't stand people leaving all their unwanted stuff all over too, I normally stuff my sweet paper and bits into my pockets or bag to throw them away later, and can't understand why others can't do the same...
