Who am I, again!

I am a free-spirited, go-with-the-flow individual wanting to get the best out of life and find happiness. I am passionate about food.

Food has always been my passion and a part of my life from day one. Simply put, I am a foodie and I have discriminating taste when it come to food. Food awakens my senses. I grew up in Guyana, South America and lived with my grandmother who is still a caterer. For as long as I can remember, the house was and is still filled with the aromas of food. Saturdays were my favorite, the smell of sweet and savory coming from the kitchen, a scent I smelled from about 1000 ft away while walking home from work as I approached my front yard. The smells of sweet breads, savory dishes, for example, cook-up-rice, a weekend tradition in most Guyanese households. Yummy, I am drooling.

Becoming a caterer might have been more natural for me than I thought after migrating to the United States some 13 years ago, I had developed the skills I needed from helping my grandmother, though reluctant at times. So in 2008, I took all that I had learnt over the years and turned into a lucrative business. I started a catering business in the Metro-Atlanta area in Georgia. Over the years, I have catered more than a 1000 events ranging from small business meetings to weddings to celebrations for 300 guests.

As a caterer, I pay keen attention to details and it my utmost duties to make sure that my client' event is successful. Food the heart of every event. If the food at an event is spot on and provides each guest with a gastronomical experience, the event will be talked about for years to come.
