We are involved in a community here that is intent on bringing as much abundance forward as possible.

Yesterday, I wrote a post about a project called InitiativeQ. It is a digital currency (non crypto) that is being designed to handle global transactions. Their approach is to put tokens in people's hands as a means of solving the supply equation. This will only leave getting merchants to accept the tokens which, if the entire world have them, would seem like common sense.

We will see how successful they are with their endeavor. The nice part is they are using a referral system to get the tokens out. I saw a few others post on here promoting the same idea. This is the value of Steemians, word will spread quickly especially when it comes to free tokens.

"Get Paid To Clean Up The Environment."

This is a project I had not seen yet it was linked in one of my posts. To be honest, I haven't looked into it much but I wanted to share it with everyone. It seems like a great movement and something that many of us can get behind.

It is no secret that we have done a number on the world around us. Few take the time even to dispose of their trash properly. We usually do not have to go far to see rubbish thrown all over the place. It is a blight on all our communities along with being potentially hazardous and ecologically unfriendly.

The solution is another SMT on the STEEM blockchain put out by @cleanplanet. They are bringing out the CLEAN, a token that rewards people for cleaning up the world around them. It is a rather simple concept which could give it a fighting chance of succeeding. Here we already see the SMT protocol used to design something that will benefit humanity on many different levels. Pollution is a major problem for most of the planet and the folks behind this project aim to fix it.

Last night, I spoke on discord at length to another Steemian about an idea he has for a SMT. Oh boy, let me tell you, this could be incredible. It is one of those things that could really alter the value of the STEEM blockchain. It takes an already exciting system and makes it even more profitable. His goal is to put more money in the pockets of people who are active on this blockchain. Utilizing some creativity, he has many different ways he wants to go with the project in terms of the functionality. It is very interesting.

The reason I bring this up is because this is what is taking place all over the blockchain. There are individuals talking about different ideas in an effort to bring them to fruition. The innovation that is happening is really amazing. That is the power of a decentralized systems. This individual I was chatting with, he only need to get his idea developed and hang it on this blockchain. There is nobody that needs to approve it, no committee to go through, nor any procedures to follow.

Create it and hang it.

If the community embraces it and uses it, good job. If not, back to the drawing board.

SMTs are the vehicle for creative expression. A token offers one the opportunity to finance a project, a marketing tool, and a way to provide incentive to people to use that application. It is an entirely new model from what people are accustomed to.

Did you know STEEM was going to be destroyed? I bet you didn't think that STEEM was big enough for someone to take aim at it.

Looking at their website, I think the STEEM blockchain has more applications than that site has posts. I think they have a bit of a way to catch up to STEEM.

That is the major point many miss. STEEM is far ahead of the rest of the field when it comes to development and real live activity. This blockchain has processed more than a million transactions per day for the last 8 months. At the same time, we see projects like @cleanplanet showing up on a regular basis. SMTs are not even released yet and we have a number of tokens being distributed already.
