Platform With Millions Of Users Joining Steem?
Wouldn't it be wonderful if a platform took a look at the Steem blockchain and decided to build on here?
This might be taking place. I wish I could find out who it is but I get it will happen in due time.
We just saw a project called @steem-bet. According to their post, they claim to be an experienced gaming company with millions of users.
We're an experience gaming company with millions of users and are working on migrating our games to the Steem platform.
This could be very exciting. It sounds like they are building a platform for existing games that are already being used.
We are starting to see a trend of games of chance finding their way to Steem. Why is that? The simple answer is that gambling and tokens go well together. The ability to use a token to reward gamers for each bet made is a big advantage. This could really revolutionize this industry.
SteemBet is going to create the SteemBet Token (SBT) to incentivize players to use their platform.
We're very excited to build the largest blockchain-based gaming platform, and we're very happy to work with the Steem community to achieve this!
This is a very attractive statement. Those of us on here know Steem has a lot to offer. It is good seeing those outside the platform come to the same conclusion.
A final point of interest is their idea to buy back the some of the SBT using their profits. This further rewards those who are regularly gaming with them. They add an interesting twist to even this.
We will also make sure the buy back price is equal to or higher than the mining price (value of STEEM/SBD you have spent on the games divided by the amount of SBT you have eanred).

As I stated, it will be interesting to find out who the company is when the details emerge. With all the different gambling applications starting to open up on blockchain. this is something that could be a serious threat to the traditional gaming businesses.
Think about it from this perspective: If you engage in typical gaming, you place your bet and either win or lose. Sure, in casinos you get free drinks and there might be some gaming tokens one receives for volume. However, it seems to me the idea of using a cryptocurrency to reward users for each bet is novel. Could this, in the end, offset the advantage the house has, at least in the short term?
Since this arena is not my cup of tea, I look at it from a non-participating point of view. I am always excited to see new projects on Steem and, from the sounds of it, this could be huge. Could we be seeing an established company with millions of users, migrating over to Steem?

They have several grammatical errors in there post.
Seems like a low budget @MagicDice trying to sound bigger and more official than they are.
It could be.
Or English might not be their first language. Plus, they might not want to release the company name until they are ready to release the platform.
Time will tell on this one. It could be a total nothing....or something that really brings some people.

@taskmaster4450, We are in era where anything is possible, and if we see more millions of users in no time then it will not going to surprise me because as you said, Steem have lot to offer. Stay blessed.
This is also what are my feelings for this year about steem. I just simple have a good feeling that good things are comming to our community.
The gambling is one of those that even without we see them here makeing posts they can grow the value of the steem and with that they grow our rewards as well.
And if now we are doing well while the market is still down it will be much better later😊

Yes, it can prove vital, but we have to hold the patience too because we didn't explored this platform yet. Have a blessed time ahead.
This is just one of the many oportunities. I see other great dapps comming also. Defenetly we have to be patience.

Welcome. Other than price aspect, i believe that Steem will grow potentially as Application Factory. I may be wrong but in my opinion at this moment Bitcoin hold the Domination and price can be dependent upon Bitcoin Price Trend, let's hope that either domination will be reduced by opening direct Fiat to Crypto Conversion or either we have to see the Bull Run. But we will feel the excitement in this journey. Enjoy your time ahead.

This is quite exciting times indeed for the steem community.
When i join they discord chat the first greating was in chinese. And everyome knows that they are good in online gambling😁 Enought to see what they are doing in Manila😁 Plus also we have other comming chinese dapps as far as i know. And that market is huge. So it means really a good oportunity for steem if they are sucessfull in they marketing😉

Lots of claims being made in their first post but they can't even share their website or company name?
Yes I was looking for a name but none was offered up. I dont find it completely out of the realm...if they are established company, they might not want fully announce it to their users until they are ready to offer service to them.
We will see if this is anything or someone putting up a post that is a pipedream.
While we wait, the deployment of the first tokens via a resteem was interesting so they seem to have a portion of the community’s attention already.
