Sms the death trapp ^^
I suspect this figure has decreased since i checked last , there is no denying that SMS is a very popular form of communication.
This equates to roughly 190,000 messages per second - that blows my mind!
Nowadays, communicating via apps such as WhatsApp/discord/messenger are a viable alternative because they are free and only require an internet connection.

Why do people sms so much?
Texting’s quick, it’s easy. You can send a million messages because every major carrier has an unlimited messaging plan..

sending me 6 sms in rapid follow, will NOT, make me respond anyyy faster.. FYI ^^
How many sms do people send?
18-24 y.o. sent and received about 128 text messages per day
25-34 y.o. sent and received about 75 text messages per day
35-44 y.o. sent and received about 52 text messages per day
rest my case...
But every single person isn’t going through that many texts per day. The high-volume users - like chatty teens and hyperconnected adults - make up the bulk of this usage.
What do these numbers mean?
They mean people are still texting more and more, in one form or another. In fact, for the first time, even teenagers say texting is their most preferred way to communicate 35% compared to the old winner of in-person (32%). For adults, texting has been #1 for at least six years.
Average American checks their phone 46 times per day
The average Millennial exchanges an average of 67 text messages per day

WOW those numbers are huge, and i am for sure not doing my Part LOL, I receive far more SMS than I ever send maybe i am old school and like talking to people on he phone, well no thats not it I am just not that social or interactive with peopleI guess LOL

I thinkI could easily be a hermit as well, what was rally crazy that I saw recently and then realized what was happening two couple got on the train and were sitting near me, they were all busy texting and said barely a word to each other, then I realized they were exiting each other in the group, now I don’t mind quiet on the train sometimes but this wasn’t even a quiet car, and they just seemed Evette right able at communicating by text rather than talking
I expect to see a documentary any day where they vows of a wedding were all done by text

Yeahhh SEEEEEEEE, this is my point!!! mind baffeling, ok for a inside joke on sms, suuure, im game ;) buut remember, whne we used to have dinner and ACTUALLYYYYYY look people in the eye, whne we speak to them???? Now we can get married and say -i do with a thumbs up emoji... i dont know, i just get sad....
Well I am not a fan of it. Seems so inefficient to me. Ever try to tell someone how to do even the simpliest thing through text, it is maddening!
