Anatomy Study- Skulls

in #art8 years ago

Hello Steemit

Today i would like to show you some old anatomy studies that done back in the day. I did this kind of sketches every day, to learn the fundamentals of the human body, that's and really important point in my work, cause if something is inaccurate it pops out even if everything else is top notch.

Tools Used: HB; 2B; 4B and 6B graphite pencils; eraser and 280g A3 Paper

Wow ! Awesome drawing skills!

I'm so inspired that I remembered my first Anatomy atlas. I need those anatomy atlas back. I want to draw. I have to draw.

That's the perfect urge mate! Do it! Find it! If you can't i can send you an anatomy pdf book :)

You are a very smart, gifted man. Taking into account the physics of your work is probably why its so exceptional! Great job friend!

Thank you mate! But it's just my way to approach everything, observing the behaviour of the elements. For example how a wet cloth will move if there is a wind blowing (this is what i try to draw right now). Trying to make things believable and unreal at the same time... :)

Thanks for using our services and the group, you where included here : My outcoming upvotes to outstanding steemians !. You get a good part of my upvotes from my upvotes, that's why I will upvote you and resteem you sometimes for free. ☺

Gosh! You put me in mind of my own days in art school. My goodness but I made a LOT of drawings of hands and feet! Still can’t get them right… 😜

Phh, yeah. I do these every year just to keep my memory intact. Otherwise, i notice that some of my drawings get some kind weird.

Hey, some kind of weird can result in great art!

This is a rare case with me :D

Some of my most interesting pieces are from mistakes or incorporating mistakes.

I try to keep everything clean in terms of anatomy, my father told me long ago that I have to learn how to draw perfectly realistic stuff, after that, I can allow myself to draw... whatever else

Great works, Nick! It inspires me to do a post with my attempts back in the day. :P

Thanks! Go on! I'm about to do some studies tonight, if you want you can join me :P

Bravo on your cross-hatching skills. 👍🏿

Thank you!
Usually, i prefer the one-way hatching technique cause it feels more... smoother, i never worked on my cross-hatching seriously, but i like it, especially for quick sketches.

Great sketches, love art as well however I use a digital camera to express myself. I'm new to steemit nice to meet you @boyerobert. Have a look at my "Sketch" tell me what you think ;-) Have a great day! https://steemit.com/photography/@boyerobert/midnight-colours
