Good Morning Friends!

God's word is amazing, isn't it!

With Father's day being Sunday I can't help but think about all of the things
the Bible says about Fathers and more about our heavenly Father!

Being a single mother put me in the position as it does most all single mothers, to be both Father and mother to my children.

I admit as a non-Christian during the majority of that time I didn't seek God's word on how to raise, treat, speak to, or lead my children in the Way, but as a grandmother and Christian I am blessed to be able to be an example of our heavenly Father's great mercy and grace and to talk to them about Jesus.

I am so grateful to my own earthly father for being a Godly man who showed us by his actions and love for us just how to do the things this particular verse tells us.

Our family adopted a family for many years. My dad went to their house and fixed things, he taught them how to do some of those things themselves and he always made sure they lacked for nothing. My mother too but this is about Fathers :)!

Dad worked hard, spoke the word of God in our home and taught us, kids, how to love.

He was always kind to us and we felt safe and protected in his care...and he loved our mother!

Things weren't always perfect but we knew God was leading dad!
