Americas: Crown meets goal of energy reduction
Crown Holdings says it has exceeded its specific goals, in a five year strategic year to reduce fuel costs and greenhouse gas emissions
In 2012, by the end of 2020, by 2015, every billion standard units of production have announced plans to reduce fuel consumption by 5%.
According to December 31, 2016, crown 5.3% decreased power consumption by every billion standard units.
Total energy consumption decreases by 1.3% and the company grows by 4.2%.
In addition, Crown Holdings is only 1 level and more than half of the goal of reducing greenhouse gases by 10% every year from the level of 1000 billion standard units 2015.
According to December 31, 2016, crude graniol gas emissions were reduced by 6.25% per billion standard units.
The goal, which is included in the part of the CDP's (formerly carbon analysis project) climate change program 2016 as the company's submission.
