Today for the first time in my life, I must destroy one of my plants.
It's that massive haze that hermaphrodite on me.
It has been on quarantine for about two weeks, and it starting to get some kind of fungi or mold on it.
Mold in your cannabis is bad for your health, don't take any chances with your health.
It's breaking my heart to throughout this beautiful plant. But there nothing I can do about it now😢

I know that really sux to have to kill one of your babies. Been there, done that many times but you did absolutely the right thing. Spider mites, mold and male plants must be removed immediately to stop contaminating the others.
Keep the ground clean of plant debris, keep fans on and monitor for an adequate low level of moisture, and some UV irradiation with a cheap lamp in your grow space won’t hurt either.

While mold isn't soluble in butane, if there is mold on your plant then there is mold in your oil. You can run material with mold but you need to have a filter(10 micron or smaller) to trap any spores that may have been knocked loose from the flow of butane or the pressure. Usually a health person can smoke BHO with mold in it and not even notice it. The problem lies in the fact that many patients are using this as medicine, many of them have compromised immune systems or lungs, so they turn to DABS to limit healthy concerns surrounding combustion.
Besides the temp of the dab rug is enough to kill any spores as well. But so far I have never seen or tasted mold in blown oil. And in Oregon it's hard to avoid mold.

The bud looks tastey! Sorry you had to kill it, but you did the right thing. The UV light will also work for the molds and mildews. It actually kills everything, but always wear UV protective gloves, eyewear, and clothing the covers all skin. Looking at your pictures it looks like something in the enviorment is wrong. Temp too high? Humidity too high? Or watering too much. These are the things I have noticed when I see a leaf like this.
You can also use the UV light your bud during harvest and be sure every spore and all organisms are dead. I have a buddy in California that UV sterilizes all of his bud at harvest.
I relocate the plant from the main grow room after it started to hermaphrodites. The humidity in the other room was high. Also, the room was unsterilized to, I guess it didn't help either...
Yes uvb radiation can boost the THC levels.
