I have talked about Arch of Septimius Severus already, let's move on to the Temple of Saturn, which was an ancient Roman temple to the god Saturn, first constructed in 497BC. Saturn was a god of wealth, and his reign would be a time of plenty, the Golden Age. The Temple of Saturn then was also used as a treasury, more or less like a bank in our time. The temple had been destroyed many time in history, the existing ruins were from the latest construction in AD283.
