今天踏进了6月，我们几乎来到自己的2018年的一半。本月份，我将与您分享我曾到过另一首都的原作手绘图：意大利的罗马。这是很长一段时间以来人们最喜欢的旅游目的地。罗马是西方世界发展最重要的城市之一。

Vittorio Emanuele II的胜利纪念碑位于罗马的中心。这被广泛称为“结婚蛋糕”或“巨型打字机”，原因很明显。那么，“打字机”已是过去了的一个名称，在这个计算机技术时代，年轻一代除非在博物馆里才能看到打字机噢！在这短短的二十年之间，发生了的改变可不少。所以现在把它称为“婚礼蛋糕”是比较合适的，至少结婚蛋糕仍然是每场婚礼必须有的！

在其上有无名烈士墓，前面有守护着永恒火焰的士兵们，以及意大利1860年代/​​​​ 1870年代统一运动事件中的众多浮雕雕塑。这是值得一游。当你爬上台阶，在顶部的柱廊周围漫步，你可以看到城市的360度全景。

This is June now, we are almost halfway down the year. For this month, I will share with you my original sketches of another capital city, Rome of Italy. This is a long time favorite tourist destination. Rome is one of the most important cities in the development of the Western world.

The Victory Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II at the center of Rome. This is widely known as "The Wedding Cake" or "The Giant Typewriter" for obvious reasons. Well, "typewriter" is a term of the past, in this age of computer technology, the younger generation has not seen a typewriter unless in a museum! So much have changed in these short twenty years. So it is now more appropriate to call it as "the wedding cake", at least the wedding cake is still a must in a wedding!

There are soldiers guarding the eternal flame in front of the Unknown Soldiers Tomb, and numerous relief carvings of events of Italy's 1860s/1870s unification movement. It is worth a visit and as you climb up the steps and walk around the colonnade at the top, you can get a superb 360-degree view of the city.
