I hope you all ate good and doing well. Today I'm here to be a part of this amazing lesson tasks "SLC S21 Week 6 - Beauty and Self-Care with Herbs". We normally use different types of herbs for our health care and beauty care. Today I will share the herbal remedies that I used for my beauty care .

Make a herbal hair tonic to promote the health the of the hairs. Write the herbs used in the tonic. Explain how the tonic will help for the hair health. Write the step by step process of making hair tonic.

Herbal Hair Tonic:

I make this hair tonic by using these herbs and it's very effective for hair growth and rescue hail fall. It's my experience by regular use of this oil hair growing faster and hair falling stops. It reduces dandruff and improves texture of hair too.It's a mixture of black seed and fenugreek seeds and oil that you like.
Let's start making hair oil.

Ingredients:

1tbsp fenugreek seeds
1tbsp black seed
100ml coconut oil

Making:

  • Take all ingredients in a pan .
  • Cook oil for 20-25min on very low flame so all goodness of herbs get infused into oil.
  • Cool it ,strain it and store it for use.

Benefits of Black Seed for Hair Care

1-For Hair Growth:
The Tymoquinone present in black seed enhances hair growth and strengthens hair follicles.

2-Anti-Dandruff:
Black seed oil treats dandruff, itching or any other related condition of the scalp.

3- Improves Hair Texture:
oil has Thus, fungicidal black and seed bacterial contains properties. essential fatty acids and antioxidants that are useful for the nourishment and conditioning of the scalp and hair thus making it soft, smooth and easy to manage.

4-Reducesl Scalp Irritation:*
Black seed oil has anti-inflammatory effects that can help soothe an itchy, inflamed scalp as well as redness.

5-Hair Shine Improves:
Black seed oil is packed with moisturizing and nourishing elements that enhance the shine of the hair and make it look healthy.

Benefits of Fenugreek Seeds for Hair Care

1-Stimulate hair Growth:
The growth hormone in seeds stimulate the growth of hair , and which also makes hair follicles stronger.

2-Reduces Dandruff:
antibacterial properties in Fenugreek seeds help curing in dandruff, known itching to and have other antifungal related and problems of the scalp.

3-Improves Hair Texture:
they help in hydrating the hair making it healthy, shiny and easy to manage because of essential fatty acids and antioxidants .

4.Reduces Hair Fall:
it strengthens the hair roots and also improves the health of the scalp ,so it stops the hair fall.

5-Soothes Scalp Irritation:
Fenugreek seeds are known to have anti-inflammatory properties and therefore it is effective in treating irritation of the scalp, redness and itchiness.

7.Improves Hair Shine*: the Fenugreek hair seeds owing are to also the known fact to that they contain moisturizing as well as nourishing components.

Prepare a mask for the skin purely made with the herbs and use at least 3 herbs to prepare a mask. Write down the procedure and explain how it helps for the skin care.

Skin Care Mask:

Today I'm making a mask that is very effective for soft,smooth and shiny healthy skin. It is one of my favourite home remedy. Few simple ingredients and few minutes for application give you shiny ,better skin.

Lets make mask

Ingredients:

Termeric 1/2tsp
Sandle wood powder 1/2tsp
Honey 1/2tsp
Lemonjuice1/2 tsp

Making:

  • Take out all ingredients according to the measurements.
  • Make a paste of all ingredients.
  • Apply it on clean face and leave it for 15-20min.
  • Gently remove it by messaging it circularly .
  • You will get soft and shiny skin.

How this nask works:

This mask has for ingredients that are beneficial for skin ,they makevskin healthy as;

  • Termeric:

It has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties so it helps to cure pimples and wounds. It smooths the skin and reduces redness.

  • Sandle wood powder:

It has anti aging properties. Helps to prevent signs of aging. Antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties help to cure pimples and skin rashes. It helps to lock moisture in skin. Helps to reduce scare of skin.

  • Lemon:

It's natural astringent and helps to minimise the skin pores. Antimicrobial properties helps to cure and prevent pimples. Anti aging properties are due to antioxidants that helps to reduce aging. A good hydrating agent that helps to lock moisture in skin.

  • Honey:

It is a good for hydrating the skin. Its anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties help to overcome skin problems. It reduces scars and brighten skin. It also helps to reduce hyper pigmentation.

So this mask is very helpful to get health, bright and smooth skin.

Make a bath soak with herbs and write about its benefits for relaxation and self care.

Relaxing Bath Soak:

There are many things that can give relaxing bath soak. I'm sharing that is used in my family. My mother used rock salt soak in hot water for relaxing bath ,most common practice at my home if someone is tired. My mother in law used tessu flowers in hot water to relaxing the pain. But I'm sharing that I'm using now days. Its very effective, relaxes muscles ,reduces stress, improves sleep.

Lets make relaxing bath soak

Ingredients:

Neem leaves 1 twig
Epsom 3-4tbsp
Cinnamon 3sticks

Making:

  • Take all ingredients and soak it for 20min in hot water ,you can boil it with water too .
  • Add this mixture to the bearable hot water and take bath from it.

Health Benefits Of Relaxing Bath Soak:

  • Epson:

This salt contains magnesium, that helps to reduce stress of body and mind. Magnesium is stress reliever, reduces stress in muscle and reduces the inflammation and soreness in muscle. Bathing with Epson at night may regulate your sleeping pattern and overcomeyour anxiety.

  • Neem:

Its has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties so it soothes the skin Irritation and it has calming effects on body so it helps to reduce stress of body. It improves sleep quality if you tske bath 2-3times a week.

  • Cinnamon:

Cinnamon helps to overcome stress of body and gives calm effects on mind. It relaxes muscles and improve sleep. Its pleasant aroma improves mood and reduces skin Irritation.

These are benefits of relaxing bath soak that we use when we are very tired and muscles get fatigue. It helps to overcome body stress and good sleep.
