Today I'm excited to be a part of Steemit Engagement Challenge Season10 Week # 6 Teach me how to do something with my hands For this contest I'm going to make a hand bag from my old jeans. I hope you like it and you can make it easily by following these steps.
Let's start making it.
Materials

Steps of making
- I cut the Jeans pants in to two parts , we used lower part of pants for top and zipper position and sides of bag and upper part of pant is used front and back side of bag.
Then cut the lower part of jeans in two pieces of 10"×45" of , asI have taken zip of length 45" inches you can take length according to zip length that you have.
Cut the strips of length 52"×10" in measure for handles of bag .
The sides of bags which were 20"×12" in size were cutting in rectangle shape .
- Cut the front part of bag I used upper part of pant that had 2,2 pickets .
- Cut the pocket dude of pants of 28.5" ×30" in measurement .(it's the size of old jeans that I have and all above measurements are according to it, you can make according to your need too or the size of cloth you have)
Sewing steps
I use common pins to attach the different jeans pieces, it will help stitching neatly without any confusion.
Then attached the zip from back side of clothes of 10"×45" in size and and then stitched from front side again to give it neat look.
- stitched 2 pieces of jeans like a strip, now attached (stitched) them by sewing machines. The distance of two handles should be equal. This complete the upper zipper part of the bag.
- now attached both sides of bag on parallel side of zipper part .
- At end Joint front the pocket piece in center and attatched it from all side, now bag is ready to use 😃😃.
Here is the final look of bag. You can make a bag of your desire size and design depending on your creativity. I hope you enjoy doing this creative work and post will give you complete guidance to make it easily.
