Been here man. Did a very similar thing with a 48 hour film festival and did a military theme.
Important thing if you have little time or money, is to try and create something that uses assets you have available and/or something you are very knowledgeable about. Both is preferred.
Having the drug trip concept allowed you to be prepared for pretty much any action they might throw out, so well done. And most importantly.....

hehe. But if only we'd actually HAD a goat, that would have been the icing on the cake! And just to clarify....we didn't actually have the drug theme to begin with. That was something that came up in order to shoe-horn the dark t.v. room in somewhere.... although I had always imagined that the coloured smoke grenades would be a bit 'apocalypse now'
