My first trip abroad. Egypt, Sharm el-Sheikh. Part 1.
It was about 14 years ago. I was still a young and mischievous girl, and the circumstances were such that I had the opportunity to go abroad to Egypt. In the tour agency, where we applied, we were offered two resorts to choose from: Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh.
Our choice fell on tSharm el-Sheikh. It was at that time the 4-star hotel Helnan Marina Sharm. We were issued a tourist's memo, where the norms of conduct abroad were painted, and the various customs of the countries. I do not exactly remember its contents, but there are a few things left in memory, about limiting the transportation of alcohol (1 liter per person) and about tips in hotels, they were recommended to leave them every day.
So, the journey begins with the airport, when we have already boarded the plane. In those years I remember still giving out meals and alcohol during the flight, which could not but please the domestic tourist. Therefore, a three-hour flight was even more pleasant. The weather was good and flying over the clouds could be seen from the porthole window behind beautiful views opening from a height of several thousand meters.
After several hours of flight, we were already approaching the place of dislocation. Beneath us we could see numerous hotels with swimming pools, which meant that we would soon arrive.
anding was mild. We were met by a Russian-speaking guide and sent a group of 40-50 people from the centralized hotel to the hotels. Our hotel was almost the latest, if not mistaken.
The settlement passed safely and the first thing we went to the beach, see what it is the Red Sea. And it was truly amazing. In the water area next to the hotel was a small coral reef, where you could observe the abundance of fish of all colors of the rainbow. This is truly amazing.
Having done a little photo on the beach, we went to lunch. To be continued....
