Since the Steem blockchain became a centralized, top-down dominated place, where control and censorship thrive, I have decided to move my content. Don't worry, though, all my posts and up and doing well on the decentralized Hive blockchain. Come and check it out!

That gets me wondering about trust and yes life experiences can make you wiser in regards to trust.
Living out in the country I donèt have to content with the concrete jungles where if you are too trusting you are often the first to be taken advantage of.
I think you are right to to a lot of it comes down to common sense but also that bit about trusting in the universe definitely plays a part.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this @ecotrains Question of the Week! I still have to get mine done!

Oh yes, it is so nice to be able to trust others, simply because we are in the same boat (the same community) together. If you are bound to see people again regularly, especially if there are not too many around anyway, everyone involved will be naturally more trusting.

Good answer. Life leaves us without a direct response, each one speaks of what he lives, feels and suffers, regarding many things, including something as daily and important as trust. This concept is crucial in lived experiences, because it is not a lie that we trust less and less, because of the growth of the swindling mentality of many. But, we still have the refuge that you mention: "trust in the universe", something good can happen if we trust.
Greetings, @stortebeker. I liked read you.

Oh, I'm sure if the circumstances change, the most mistrustful become can become trusting again. As for the trust in the universe, that is always a given.

Oooh some solid airport reading here! Looks like a
Stellar post brother!

Nice, thank you for your support.
Have a safe flight!

Oh, and you forgot you contribute to @naturalmedicine!

Well, to be honest, I didn't. I simply felt like this post, philosophical ramblings about trust and other intangible things, was too far removed from natural medicine, homesteading, gardening, etc. BUT: I will take your comment as an encouragement, and I'll add the #naturalmedicine tag to future answers I'll post to the @ecotrain and @tribesteemup questions.

It certainly does depend on your environment and experience. I agree curiosity is key ... a kind of cautious curiousity and common sense is probably sage advice!!

Right, without curiosity (or genuine interest in the other person) you end up being an interrogator or inquisitor, giving good reason for mistrust.

Danke für deinen tollen Artikel.
Ich finde das Bauchgefühl sehr gut.
Oft bekommt man gute Informationen, wenn
man auf seine Intuition hört.
Vielleicht lernt man allmählich auch eine
gewisse Menschenkenntnis, die einem
weiterhilft.
Eine gute Woche wünsche ich dir.

I think I'm with the Aussie truckers on this one - yes, taking your valuables with you to the bathroom implies (and invites) mistrust.

I'm wondering how we can trust in the "universe" if we can't trust one another??
