Aurora Borealis Over Whistler British Columbia

Hi all, check out this Aurora Borealis I photographed a while back. I thought this would be cool to share with steemit :D It was the first time I had witnessed such an event. It was really amazing!!!

An aurora, sometimes referred to as polar lights, northern lights or southern lights, is a natural light display in the Earth's sky, predominantly seen in the high-latitude regions.

I like to explore and travel often and take photos when I see a moment or something that catches my eye. I usually share photography my photos aren't necessarily about realism and often take an artistic approach. I love nature and art!

      I've been there a number of times and have never seen the northern lights. !!! Beautiful!
