California wildflowers - Daisy

Lovely daisies growing in La Honda Nature Preserve in the Santa Cruz mountains.

There were lots of daisies.

Lots and lots of daisies.

I believe these are Oxeye Daisy which while beautiful are non-native and invasive. It spreads rapidly and is hard to control - displacing native plants.

This is the first post of our June 30 trip through the Santa Cruz mountains and to the coast yesterday.
