Digital Dining
We went to a restaurant in London this evening that takes dining out to a whole different level.
It's a digital interactive eating experience.
Ordering food via an ipad might not be particularly new (although it is effective!), but having controllers on the table that turn the table into a games experience was a new one for me.
There are a choice of games and what makes it passable is that the games are mainly interactive multi player games with others at the table. This makes it at least a little sociable!
A good distraction for the kids (suff to keep them off their own devices) and a bit of fun for the adults, this was a novel experience. It makes you wonder what's next?
Even the ice cream that we ordered from the local gelato shop on the way back was inventive - in more of an artisan rather than digital way.
