Cryptocurrency Market Cap Nears 100 Billion
For the first time ever, the market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies is nearing 100 billion USD. We are now just over a week of when the market cap dropped from its then all-time high of 90 billion to just under 59 billion in the matter of a few days. To put all of this into perspective, the NYSE (New York Stock Exchange) has a market cap of roughly 20 trillion. That's 20,000,000,000,000. Quite a lot of zeroes. Once all cryptocurrenices reach a market cap of 100,000,000,000, this will put us at 0.5% of the market cap of the NYSE. And that's just the NYSE. There are over 60 major stock exchanges across the world with a total value of over 70 trillion.
The past few months have been a roller coaster ride for all of us, as we’ve seen billions of new dollars enter the market. Skeptics believe we’re entering bubble territory, but with the Federal Reserve and all other major countries printing cash like hot cakes, I don’t see any of this slowing down. We’re only getting started, boys.
