They say a new day rises with every sun, but I never feel a thing..

After so long, the levies were breached,
After such silence the cacophony stilled.
The moors of my heart began to soften and slow,
And the gentle lullaby of your voice carried on the wind, so smoothly did it relent.
Stumbling through the dark I searched far and wide, eager for my salvations gaze.
But instead I was kneeling at the womb of the earth, and there I lay..and I wept.
With quiet frustration I was assaulted by the bane of the earth, And to my chargrin I spoke no more.
With one last glance at the mouth of the sea - I turned to forget everything...,
And softly, gentle hands caressed my cheek.

The horizon changed its cloak before me...And still, my secrets lie barren on the ocean floor.

One day, I'll go back.
