Hello my dear Steemians,
Today I wanted to invite you to this delicious challenge by Scouts y sus Amigos Community:
Why do you think it is important to do Power Up? |

Steem is the Crypto and blockchain where Steemit is based. It is the same like with any currency if there are many of it on market then market has a large amount of currency and the price of it will go down. That is called inflation.
As to Steem, that is same situation if many will sell Steem then it will be to much of Steem on Market which can cause an imbalance between supply and demand. In oder to prevent that Steem that we have is better to stake in Steem Power. This way we reduce the volume of free Steem but on other hand we increase our Steem Power and with that we can support others giving them upvotes.
I usually do Power Up once a week, and usually it is an end of the week like today. That is why I decided to join this challenge that is encouraging us to do Power Up.

Just like a great coincidence we have noticed a great surprise this morning Steem Dollar that was quite low lately has shown a little peak today and that is something I wanted to share here too.
You might remember if the Price for Steem Dollar will go further up then we might have Steem Dollar in our payout too.
We were also glad to see that Steem Price also remained stable last 24 hours:

We just continue Power Up at present, the goal is at the moment 200K of own Steem Power, we will be working towards that. Nobody knows how long it will take, but it is better do not concentrate on that much just let it go and hopefully it will just happen itself.

Greetings friend, power up is indeed a good intention on the Steem blockchain, like you have correctly shared with us the positive movement of the Steem and SBD lately, this I believe is achieved as we hold onto our steem, hence reducing the circulatory amount of Steem.
Steempower also give steem holders numerous benefits such as higher curation rewards and voting influence on other users quality posts. Good luck to you as you embark on a journey to achieve greatness.

I agree with you that the purpose of this community is to make the topic of Power Ups aim to encourage us to do Power Ups in strengthening the accounts we have.

It is a matter of work of our 6 years, luckily we started soon after Steem was created and that was the trick. I hope people will follow the example of course, depending on financial situation:)
I've heard about the stories of people who had success with Steem when Steemit was first created. But unfortunately some of them have stopped and given up.
I just need to learn from people who have been successful Like you, have Consistency and have high contributions to the platform.

Ha, ha, ha, I am flattered, but I must say you are on the good way too. I like your positive and engaged character, that is the most important. The rest should come and if we are lucky and Steem as well as Steem Dollar will grow then we all will win :)

I think this is the best post I've read today as it's not just coined to power up but also to what increases it. I can remember when steem dollars formed the basis of our payout too. This sbd was more beneficial and useful in growing out steem power fast. Can't wait for it to be back. Anyways, I've seen your growth as it's very much visible on the platform. You've been a source of motivation to many and I wish to be like you when I grow up. My becoming a dolphin on this platform was because of my aspirations to grow like you do. It will be good to have SBD back that can only happen if Steem got stable too. When we started it was not so important for us what we get for reward we were more interested in communication with others and of course a nice side effect. I think it is good not too much concentrate on how much and how quickly we grow and just accept what we have.

I was trying to build my steem power, so I can apply as a community curators. I wish I can every grow it to the requirements .
You do an excellent POWER UP, I have the habit of doing POWER UP also on a weekly basis, not that much, I'm just a little fish hahahaha
I liked the point that you said we could receive SBD, it would be ideal, but I know we have to wait.
