Own garlic harvest
Hello my dear Steemians,
If you regular visiting my blog, you might remember that in autumn, appr. in November we planted garlic. For that each glove of garlic bulb is taken from each other and planted single cloves. Since hten we have now June and althoug the green leaves of garlic were strong and tall, last few days they were almost lying flat. I looked into Internet to check what time of the year, you can collect garlic harvest and it was mentioned that if you planted in November then you can harvest them in June-July.
Here how our young garlic look like, they are nice and juicy. We used one bulb of garlic but collected 28 knew garlic bulbs. I am so happy to see such result we will definietly plant more this autumn.

I am very happy with the result of our garlic from this year, last year it was not so good. After seeing how they look like this time, we definitely plant more in autumn :)

Thank you @denmarkguy, that is indeed a great feeling to see what is the result of our work. I love garlic in general and of course to add it to different dishes. When I buy garlic in shop htey are sometimes small, dry and not so savory. I heard a lot about growing own garlic and that is my experiencent, I must say it was successful 😉

Честно говоря, мы хотели подержать их дольше но листья растений были тяжелые и уже лежали, поэтому решили их собрать, по крайней мере они хорошие вышли и очень ароматные 😉
Есть такая методика, что перья лука и чеснока перед сбором урожая прижимают к земле. Примерно, за неделю или даже более. тогда вся сила растения уходит в "головку". недозревший зимний чеснок хуже хранится. но, конечно, зависит от количества и срока хранения. :)
Кстати, картофель так же рекомендуется, если ботва еще есть и её не съела фитофтора.
