Busy week and home made pesto
Hello my dear Steemians,
It is the end of the week and I am quite happy to have my free weekend once again, it will be short weekend next time so it is time to enjoy it and hopefully the weather will be warm and dry. I need some fresh air and sun light. This week was busy and long, there were mixture of everything.
I had endoscopy, outpatient clinic and operating list, so every minute was scheduled and on some days I had very small lunch break. By the way when I was catching up on the news and when reading that Musk in USA sent emails to some employees of governmental organisation asking them to write in reply what they did during their working day it made me smile. I definitely could write every single minute of my day and it would definitely fill my whole 9,5 hours of my day.
Last night I had my night shift and this morning my hubby @myskye prepared a surprise for me, he prepared Pesto for me and brought to me for lunch. I love pesto, it is light and delicious, I do not need to warm it up much because olive oil does not like heat. That is why I had my pesto for lunch and it was a great and lovely gesture from my hubby.

Finally I would like to tell you that this food is one of my favorites, besides the pesto I make it in a totally handmade way. In the Mediterranean we have the advantage that the ingredients of this wonderful sauce are easy to find and of very good quality. Basil, nuts, cured cheese and above all, the best olive oil in the world ... just mix them in the right proportion and 'voila!

It is good to know that Pasta with Pesto is also your favourite. There are many different recipes, this summer I am going to prepare myself pesto from fresh bough ingredients on German market. It will be much time on summer holiday and it is always good to experiemnt with something.
