At Netherlands Port
I mentioned in previous posts about our departure on ferry that we were leaving from Netherlands, the place called IJmuiden is a port city in the Dutch province of North Holland and despite of being small it is very busy, what I like most there are many little cafes, restaurants around so in summer a lot of opportunity to sit outside while waiting for the departure and enjoy nice food, cold beer or maybe tasty coffee.
It was on our departure beautiful weather and quite hot, blue sky and some wind. We had a short walk outside of cabin on decks and while outside @myskye, of course, made some photos that we wanted to share.
It was three mast sailing ship in the port, unfortunately, the sails were all folded and despite of observing the activities on board and hoping to see how it is sailing we were not luck enough and did not see the sails. But we were able to observe how the man was on one of the mast doing something, just look at the middle mast, on its top you can see little figure. My hubby managed to get it closer too. I believe in order to do that one should have no problem to work on such height. That is definitely not for me.

Me too, I always have a feeling that I need to jump it is like a magnet that is pulling down. But every ship need such people without dizziness.

Taking a ferry from the Netherlands? Your posting and photos seem to happen in a fairy tale for me. It is so different from my daily life.. I envy you. Enjoy your trip.
Yes,you are right it is something normal for us because we see it on daily basis but I can imagine that there are many different things that is specific for Korea that I might find very exciting. That is why people love traveling :)
