Service Update

Dear Customers and Steemians

It is with pleasure that we bring you a service update to mix up our daily routine a little bit, @cryptomancer recently joined our team as co-owner with @thecryptodrive. @cryptomancer has spent a great deal of time cleaning up the voting code and upgrading libraries to the latest version of Piston, as well as ironing out compatibility issues with the recent Steem Hark Fork ver 18.1.

We have migrated the votings scripts away from Marc's servers and the next task is the website frontend migration.

To help debug issues that arise, we now have a log file containing timestamped debugging outputs for all of our scripts; which will help us catch those nasty "gremlins" in good time.

Furthermore, in co-operation with @smooth and @abit's experiment to empower the community by limiting whale votes, we have made some adjustments to our payment and guild vote scripts. We now will limit the vote power percentage of accounts above a threshold of 350 000 SP, the limit only applies to self-payment posts and guild posts, normal voting rules are not affected.

The formula we are using is: VotePowerToUse = (100*SteemPowerLimit)/ aPower

In this case, SteemPowerLimit = 350 000 SP and aPower is the SP an account currently has, so for example and account with 2 Million SP will vote our posts and guild winners' post with the following percentage:

(100 x 350 000) / 2 000 000 = 17.5% Voting Power

In future, we will be working on new features and functionality once we have built a solid foundation on the existing feature set.

We thank you for your continued support and understanding during our transition

Is the free service limited to max 3 rules? Or is it because I just signed up or something? @steemvoter :/

The max voting rules are determined by how much Steem Power you have. There is a chart showing how many rules you get for certain amounts of Steem Power - see the "Tip of the Week" section at the bottom of this post: https://steemit.com/steemvoter/@steemvoter/steemvoter-week-in-review-for-apr-22-29

Thanks for reply and the bot!

my voting bot is not working for the past 24 hours, red x on all the votes in my log

Okay, thanks for informing us. We will look into it and get back to you.

@cryptomancer has been looking into your issue. He sent you a private message about it on Steemit Chat. Please check and reply there.

updated my posting key to fix the problem

just saw this post,
I have one confusion, my browser won't let me open this site steemvoter.com saying
"Your connection is not private,
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from steemvoter.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID
Proceed at your own risk "
So, is it really unsecure or SSL CA certificate expired ?

The site is safe to use. There is a problem with the SSL certificate authority which we are hoping to get fixed soon.

If you are hesitant, you can try the site in Microsoft Edge which I believe is still accepting the certificate.

Okay, I understand, but before joining this I want to know more about it.
So, would you explain about this in detail ...if there's already some blog or so where it is already described then you can link me that

Check out this review post, it gives a pretty good introduction to the service including some screenshots: https://steemit.com/steemit/@cryptomancer/steem-voter-review-bringing-bot-power-to-the-masses

hey,

I took a break from Steemvoter and am just coming back - saw the notice about Premium services for $3SBD/month - but not sure where to find details about what exactly is included in the Premium services, or how/where to pay the $3 USD...

could you please clarify, or provide link to answer these concerns?

thanks!

Premium service increases the number of voting rules you can have to 500, and also makes your account exempt from contributing 1 vote per day to our payment posts, which is the normal way that non-premium users "pay" for using our service. Those are the only benefits to it right now, but in the future there may be additional features only available to premium users.

If you wish to become premium, you can just send 3 SBD x however many months you want to @steemvoter, and put a note in the memo field saying it's a payment for premium services. Your account should be upgraded within 24 hours.

When I edit a rule it unchecks the active box when I close the tab.
When I come back the active box is no longer checked.
It happens just as quick as you edit, but doesn't show until I close it and come back.

Is this behavior still happening? It could have been a momentary glitch due to heavy load on the database at the time. We will check your account status and look into it.

Hey @steemvoter! Interesting, knowledge - providing post.

I used steemvoter the last 3 weeks, but I didn't get any curation rewards from the upvotes made with steemvoter. Why not?

I used steemvoter for close to 2 weeks, but I didn't get any curation rewards from the upvotes made with steemvoter. Why not? Can you help me out please?
