We are back with another edition of NBA Fantasy Tonight! It was kind of a quiet night in the NBA last night after a wild Monday that was full of day and night action for the MLK Day holiday. But we are back in full swing tonight and their are 10 games featuring 20 teams to choose from. That means there will be a ton of options at each position and makes for a fun fantasy night.
Let's get started with the point guard position.
D Mitchell PG 8500. Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz got off to a very slow start this year after an incredible run the year before. But the second year guard out of Louisville has really stepped his game of late and is a big reason for the surge of the Jazz. Mitchell is averaging 35 fantasy points per game and he will feast at home tonight against the Denver Nuggets. I like Mitchell to go for close to 50 fantasy points tonight.
Z LaVine SG 6900. Zach LaVine is having his best year ever in the NBA. He is mixing in an aggressive offensive game by driving to the rim and pushing the pace along with a solid mid-range jumper. LaVine has always been extremely athletic but his scoring has been very streaky, until now. He will have no problem getting a high volume of shots up against a smaller line-up from the Atlanta Hawks and should cruise past his fantasy season average of 36 points per game.
B Griffin C 9700. Blake Griffin is coming off of one of his worst games of the year on Monday. But he will not play bad two games in a row and will bounce back in a huge way tonight. Anthony Davis remains outs for the New Orleans Pelicans so Griffin will be in the middle of dunk city again as the Pelicans have no one to slow him down or protect the rim. I think Griffin will have the highest fantasy points total on the entire board tonight.
