What is next for Tom Brady?

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady just had the best game of his career. And it was in a Super Bowl. Let me say this again, Tom Brady just played the best game of his NFL career in the Super Bowl 52. But the Patriots LOST! The Philadelphia Eagles beat the New England Patriots 41-33 in the highest scoring Super Bowl ever.
Brady’s numbers on the night were insane. He completed 28-48 of his passes for 505 yards. He threw 3 touchdowns and zero interceptions. Brady’s quarterback rating was 115.4. Those numbers are historic to say the least. Unfortunately, the Patriots defense was pathetic and could not stop the Eagles passing or running game and that cost Brady his best performance of his career.
So what should Tom Brady do now? The 40 year old quarterback just won the NFL MVP. He is the best player in the league still at his ripe old age and is considered by most the best player in the history of the NFL. Most players can only dream of still be on a roster once they cross the 35 year old mark. But here is Tom now past the 40 mark. He is playing at the highest of levels and had a QBR of 102.8 this year which is one of his best 5 seasons in his 18 year career.
The Patriots offense will mostly be back next year. And so will head coach Bill Belichick. But that is all meaningless if the defense is going to be so terrible. How do you lose a game in which your QB throws for over 500 yards, 3 touchdowns and no interceptions?
Tom Brady will be back in September lined up under the center. In fact, he has expressed interest in playing at least 5 more years. And I say, go for it. As long as he has the passion and the fire to continue playing and is able to at a high level, he should not stop. Brady is now compared to Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls in the NBA. One mistake that MJ made was retiring too early. And he made it twice. First when trying to play baseball, and second after the Bulls won their 6th NBA Title. Don’t make that same mistake Tom.

wow. This us by all standards the best sports post i have ever read. Keep it up @steemsports. Give us valuable information like these.
Statistically it may have been the best game hes had, but Brady was missing a lot of passes early in the game. It took him almost an entire half to find his rhythm.
I also agree with what your saying, but most of is yards came from quick short passes and screens. If anything the receivers did all the work for Brady.
Im still sour that james white didnt get the mvp vs atlanta. There are definately times brady gets too much credit. At least he got beat by my eagles :)
I can see that Brady is a great player but way over hyped.
Unfortunately I agree he will be back, and I think Gronk will too. I feel a little more uncertain about Belichick but you are probably right thathe will be back too. I know if Im Malcolm Butler Im out.

I don't know about "greatest player ever" but he's for sure the GOAT of QB's.
I still can not consider him a GOAT! He does not have sportsmanship and refused to shake the hand of the opposing QB after a loss.
Marino is the GOAT. I aint afraid to say it lol. If anything manning and brees are better too. Brady has had better teams to be on
I personally believe Montana and Elway are the GOATs.
Agreed solid QB with class!
Greatest football player ever imo is Jerry Rice.
Soon to be antonio brown, but thats another debate :)
I'd say Deion "primetime" Sanders!
Hes climbing the WR rankings. I doubt he will ever catch Rice but he could soon be right there with Moss, TO, and Calvin Johnson. Deion is definitely the best DB ever.
Besides touchdowns brown is on a very similar trajectory. But time will tell for sure
Brown is a solid player but how will he do when Big Ben leaves or retires? You foretting about Tim Brown and Michael Irving!!
Great read! I do think that Tom Brady had one hell of a game in the Superbowl. I do think he put the team on his back in the superbowl. The Patriots gave up on their run game which forced him to throw the ball more than necessary. I agree he is a competitor and regardless of who he throws to he makes them great receivers.
My question with you is what do you think will happen with the Patriots with the departures of Mcdaniel's and Patricia moving on?
Are they still going to be considered contenders?
McDaniels leaving will be a total nonfactor imo.
I'm just thinking a new OC could change Brady's game style.
It doesnt seem to have in the past but I cant think of another OC hes had other than Romeo Crennel. I know Belichick was initially a defense guy but I feel like as long as hes there, the system is in place.
Well there goes that McDaniels declined the job!
