I too have been pretty entrenched into the combine and have had the weird feeling that I'm at a meat market. To think that a team may pass on a DB that they KNOW can play. Sure tackler, reads routes well, nose for the ball, vocal etc....because another player put up 3 more reps in the bench press and ran the 40, a few thousandths of a second faster.......crazy. Even crazier is the fact that Griffin can catch the ball too. They project him as a 5th round selection, back up LB and core special teams player. Was the AAC player of the year. Dude can play. His brother Shaquill plays for Seattle and been through the combine before so you know he trained and knew exactly what to expect. Great personalty also.
This is an exciting time. You have the NFL free agency, combine and draft. You have the second half of the NBA season getting into gear. Championship week, Selection Sunday and March Madness coming. Spring Training going on at the moment in baseball. Some great stories in boxing and MMA that's been going on. I can keep going for sure. Exciting but pretty tough to stay on top of it all. Love it!!
