The Pittsburgh Steelers face off against the Tampa Bay Bucs tonight in the Monday Night Football Game of the Week in the NFL! Kickoff is set for 7:15pm Central Standard Time and the game can be seen on National Television on ESPN. It will take place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. There are thunderstorms in the forecast so the game could see some rain and get sloppy. The Steelers are favored by -1 and the over/under is 55 points.
The Tampa Bay Bucs enter tonight’s game on cloud 9! They are 2-0 and have one of the hottest offenses in the NFL, next to the Kansas City Chiefs. A lot of this success is because their quarterback, Ryan Fitszpatrick is off to a phenomenal start to the season. He has tossed 4 touchdowns in each of the first two games and is a big national story. He has been nicknamed Ryan FitzMagic and is one of the most popular players in the league this year. But there was never a plan to make him the long term QB for the Bucs. He only got his shot because Jameis Winston is suspended for the first part of the season. But FitzMagic has played so well that Winston might be watching from the bench all season.
Mike Evans and Desean Jackson have played dynamite at wide receiver for the Bucs. They have given FitzMagic one hell of a receiver core to throw to. The Pittsburgh Steelers secondary is going to have their hands full tonight with both of them.
The Steelers are in complete meltdown mode. The are still without their star running back, Le’Veon Bell, who continues to hold out. And their stud receiver, Antonio Brown, tweeted last Monday that he wanted a trade. Plus, their QB Big Ben, has been mentioned by porn star Stormy Daniels in her book that is coming out next week. What a shit show!
As far as tonight’s game goes, it should be a shoot out. Neither team has strong defenses and this should be a very high scoring game with lots of big plays. I expect Big Ben and FitzMagic to put up huge numbers. Who will win? I slightly favor the home team, but we will have to watch to find out.
