LeBron James proves that age is just a number. He is doing insane things this year in his fifteenth season in the NBA for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He has been on a mission, putting the team on his back despite all of the dramas surrounding the Cavs this season. He recorded incredible numbers and perform like he is not getting any older. The 33 year old averaged a triple double over the past two months. King James managed to maintain playing on a high level for the past fifteen years and breaking records over records while doing it.

LeBron is proving just how long he has been at the top of his game, recently became the oldest player in NBA history to record 2000 points, 500 assists and 500 rebounds in a season, much incredible numbers for a 33 year old. But not only that, he also owns the same record for the youngest to get those numbers in a season. He has done those 13 years ago. This man is not done yet. Looks like he made a habit of breaking almost every record in the NBA. He continues to dominate year after year. I think he still has a lot to offer next season and will evolve his game and will still break many records.

LeBron is known as a humble person. He is not the type of player who will arrogantly talk himself up. But he is also not the type of player to doubt his own abilities. And recently, the Cavaliers Star was asked who he thinks the 2018 season MVP should be, and LeBron answered with confidence.

“I would vote for me,” James told the Associated Press’ Tim Reynolds on Tuesday. “The body of work, how I’m doing it, what’s been happening with our team all year long, how we’ve got so many injuries and things of that nature, guys in and out, to be able to still keep this thing afloat, I definitely would vote me.” Not a very humble answer from LeBron but despite of James Harden’s outstanding performance and his team’s success, he still has a case to chase for the award. He’s averaging 27.4 points, 9.1 assists, 8.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game while shooting a very efficient 54.8 percent from the field and improving his shooting range with 36.2 percent from three point distance.

LeBron joins Oscar Robertson, James Harden and Russell Westbrook as the only players to average 27 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds in a single season. LeBron once said that he wants to be the greatest to ever play the game and he recently had a statement, “At this point in my career, I’m just trying to break the mold, break the narrative of guys in their 15th year. … I’m trying to do things that have never been done before,” James told Reynolds. “It’s crazy because I’m not setting out to do it. It’s just kind of happening organically. I’m just training my body and training my mind and going out and playing and seeing what happens.”

People have different point of views, different opinions. LeBron is totally one of the greatest, arguably the greatest, but at the end of his career one thing is for sure, he will be a hall of famer and his contributions, what he brought to the game will always be remembered forever.
