NHL Fantasy Picks 12/20

We are back with a new NHL Fantasy Tonight! There is a small slate Wednesday so we will be focused hard. We played against the Red Wings last night, no reason not to go back to the well tonight on a back to back

Mitchell Marner W 4100. Marner is very spotty, but on this short slate is has a lot of upside. He is coming off a 3 assist 1 goal game. Matthews has been out due to an upper body injury injury.He did travel with the team to Columbus today, but after missing 5 games he will need to be eased back in if he even suits up. The Maple Leafs line 3 has been potent as of late. Marner can't hurt you at a 4100 price tag.

Alexander Wennberg C 5000. Wennberg's minutes are on the rise as is his form. 1 goal and 3 assists in the last 3 since being moved back down to line 3. I have a hunch the Blue Jackets 1st power play unit shows up tonight.

Shayne Gostisbehere D 5700. Since coming back from injury in early November Gostisbehere has been on a terror. Shots on goal 6, 4, and 4 in the last 3. He will be on everyone of my lineups tonight.

Wayne Simmonds W 5400. Simmons has been staggering in the last 3. This will not last and when he gets going he puts up big numbers. I think we may see depressed ownership due to his recent form. There is no reason not to target Simmons tonight at home against the Wings. I will be playing with confidence.

John Gaudreau W 7600. I am going to continue to play Gaudreau in good spots. The Flames got destroyed by the Canucks last game and with that so went a god portion of Gaudreau's ice time. Let's not stray from him just yet.

Vladimir Tarasenko W 8000. As the price tag says he is one of the most deadly players in hockey. He is back in form. The shots are there, the minutes are there, the production is there. There is nothing not to like about Tarasenko tonight. On this small slate he is almost impossible to pass up.
