The Olympics have flown by so fast, and we only have five more days remaining of Olympic Mens Hockey for another four years in which I envision a more competitive tournament filled with NHL stars, in which the USA and Russia will reign and shine above all the other nations. Twelve teams participated in this years Olympics, 8 of which qualified as per International Ice Hockey Cooperation rules, South Korea qualified as the host nation, and three teams made it through winning in a qualification tournament.
These twelve teams were placed in three divisions. In numerical order, Group A consisted of the Czech Republic (8 pts), Canada (7 pts), Switzerland (3 pts), and finally the host nation South Korea (0 pts). Undoubtedly, South Korea has the worst hockey team out of the twelve that competed and they were blown out 8-0, giving up the most points while being shutout. The Czech and Canada advanced to the quarterfinals and hours ago, the Czech defeated the Americans, advancing to the semifinals.
Group B consisted of Russia, who secured the first place position in the division, the USA, Slovenia, and Slovakia who all racked up the same number of points, 4. Slovenia and Slovakia were defeated in the qualification tournament, and Russia and the USA advanced to the quarterfinals. Just hours ago Russia secured a semi-finals position while the USA's hopes and dreams this year are gone.
Sweden, Finland, Germany, and Norway made up Group C. Sweden went undefeated (3-0) grabbing 9 points within those victories. Finland grabbed two regulation victories and gave up one, scoring a total of 6. Germany scored two points with help from an overtime victory over Norway. And Norway scored only one point. Canada and Finland and Sweden and Germany will play within the next few hours and I will be coming back with an update on the outcomes.

I predict Canada as winner and due to some strong sentiments I'll be rooting for Germany.
Ahh I truly hope they bring back NHL players. Truly isn't the same..
