If you’re looking for tips, the main one I would suggest is to get some additional lighting to really allow the visitors to see the art.
One way to do this is get a few flood lights for a corner or two of the room, and drape a white sheet around it which will reflect the light around the room, and also hide the light so it doesn’t take away from the ambiance.

Yes, lights are a problem as the house was not designed to be an art gallery :) But I will try to find some kind of workaround...
