I was going to go out to watch live music, but thought I'd make some myself to share on Steem instead.

This pleasant song has been stuck in my head lately, singing it outside when I walk around. I used to listen to it often, but lost track of it for a few years until a couple of days ago. It's a calm and simple tune, yet the lyrics are so powerful. See for yourself below or as you listen along.

There were no drums to this, so I sat down for the first time to put this take together from scratch. It's a gentle song, and fairly easy, but I felt the need to add some dynamics and color.

While Steem Land is tough these days, I'm happy to play music and share it with those who care to listen. It fills the void I have for not gigging around these days, something I really want to do again once my baseball season is over.

Speakers/headphones with good bass are recommended for the full sound.
