We all want to attract businesses on the Steem blockchain, right? Well, what does it say if we can't even take care of those that are already building on it?

These two diehard Steemians, along with others, have organized yet another conference designed to help US.

Half livid and half sad, I feel that the majority of Steem's larger and most capable stakeholders have taken these bulldogs for granted. These are good people who care far more than most.

I don't care about the past at this point, but we need to address this starting now.

Unless you've been living under a rock, @steemcafe and @daveonarrival have passionately sacrificed nonstop for 7 months, spending exorbitant amounts of time, money, energy, blood and sweat to better OUR Steem community. They're unsung heroes doing their best, constantly promoting Steem, hustling, and grinding daily. They even just bought a van for road trips!

Hosting a conference for US where Steemit, Inc. is based is brilliant to strengthen our exposure and relations with the backbone of our blockchain. Setting this up takes months and lots of funding, sacrifice, and personal expense.

What else can two human beings do to show that they're constantly adding genuine value and opportunity for all of us? Why aren't they celebrated more? They sure as hell earned it!

For God's sake, forget the ROI on your stake and give some to these soldiers who are true leaders. Your voting power will recharge. If sending Steem to their wallets sounds crazy, how about you just say thank you? Let's give them the respect they deserve. It's our turn.

People pop up with shiny projects left and right, get put on a pedestal with buzz and massive upvotes overnight, often based on hot air. These guys are 100% action and results, and no bullshit. They've earned the right to be appreciated more all the way to the top.
