Nice to see that the island was made a nature preserve, but I can't help wondering what kinds of havoc the rabbits have wreaked on the native plants and animals of the island, particularly with their overpopulation.
I know that rabbits created serious mayhem when they were introduced to Australia, and the Australian government is still trying to get them under control.
