SEC-S7W5 – My Family Relic - A Turban

Today, I am going to be a part of the week 5 contest in the Steem Venezuela community. The topic is Your Family Relic. Stay tuned with me and have a nice reading.

A Brief Description of My Family Relic
Family Relic are the old and ancient things that are of great importance in every family and there are different stories and histories that are attached to those things. Different families have different traditions and customs depending upon the area of the residential of their incestors and many other factors as well.
Talking about the family relic of mine, it is actually a Turban which is actually going through our ancestors and transferred to the upcoming generations in the form of a gift from the previous generation. Turban is the most popular item in our province Punjab. Our ancestors were very fond of it. Have a look at some pictures.
These three pictures show the material that is used in making a turban which is actually the relic of my family. There is a fabric cloth for round 1 meter and there is a black lining on this White cloth. Inside it, there is a cap which have small holes and it is red in colour.
The white clothes that is shown in the above pictures is actually tied on the cap in such a way that it gave a shape of a turban. On asking my father, I got to know that it is the turban of my great great-grandfather. So, its my Family Relic that had been moving towards the next generation.
How to acquire this Turban
Have I have already discussed that this is the Turban of my forefathers. When I saw this contest I went to my grandfather and ask the him about something ancient that is actually I will family relic. I was not aware about this Turban before. So I am thankful to the team for arranging such a contest that also open the secret upon me.
When I went to my grandfather, he told me that there is one thing that is actually our family relic and it is the Turban of his great grand-father. It was given to his grandfather and then to his father and at last it was given to my grandfather when he was married.
He told me that when our the best son of the eldest brother in our family is married then this Turban is given to him as a family tradition. At the current time it is the ownership of my father which is the eldest son of family. And I am lucky that this Turban is going to be my ownership when I would be married, hehe :)
Additional Information and A Story about this Turban
This is actually the sign of the leadership of our family. The eldest son of our family hold this turban and we know that there are different family affairs that are considered to be in the notice of one leading person and exactly that person is my father at the time.
I am also happy that I am going to acquire this family relic one day. I spent about two hours with my grandfather while asking some information about this Turban and he told me a story related to the turban.
He told me that this Turban is actually the representation of the fact that we belong to a religious family. It is also a sign of the fact that we belongs to a landlord family who loves farming and agricultural aspects and I have not used these two facts many times at different occasions.
He told me that when this Turban was given to him as a tradition of our family during his marriage ceremony, he was very much happy and feeling blessed that the sign of our family is now going to be his ownership and he will keep this great item so that he could be able to transfer it to his elder son somewhere in the future.
So, these are some important information that are linked with this beautiful turban which is actually our family relic. I hope that all of you will like the information that are provided in this post related to this turban and I got all these information from my loving grandfather.

When I got all these information from my grandfather, I asked him to make the turban for me so that I could be able to capture some pictures with this beautiful item. He agreed and tied the cloth to make this Turban and I captured some beautiful pictures that are shown below.

@steemdoctor1, That turban has great meaning for the whole family, and is passed down from generation to generation by the representatives who have the leadership at that time in the family.
I see they take good care of it since despite the years it is maintained very well.
I learned something new as I was expecting the turban to be just cloth, and not have any cap attached to it
