My promotion for steemit

Today I would just like to show you my little bit to help steemit grow.

I own an Instagram account called steemitpromotion.

At first I made it as an experiment but it turned out really well so I kept on working on it. Now here is how many followers I have.

I find this is phenomenal, as I feel that I am helping the steemit community grow into the massive community Facebook and other social media sites are.

I started this on holiday, this year, the date was the 31st May and I decided to setup an experiment to see how many followers I could get. if I just spent about ten minutes a day looking at it and sorting things out and following people how many followers could I get. After nearly 4 months I have managed to get myself 767 followers which is amazing.

If you like statistics...

191 followers per month
51 followers per week
7 followers per day

What really was fantastic was that some of the people, who were following me, had over 10 thousand followers up to a hundred thousand followers. This meant my experiment was working. Just think how many people have seen Steemit as a result of this. I will keep it going to do my bit to increase the popularity of this great site.

I don't have an Instagram account but for the basis of an experiment and knowing how much further you can reach 'new' people and potential followers on steemit, I think it is well worth the time to investigate.

I rarely go on FB or twitter anymore as too much drama and censorship to deal with... but this is still interesting as to how many people are reached. My husband keeps telling me to go back to FB and twitter, but... it's difficult for me.

I believe setting up an Instagram account, just on the basis of promoting steemit ,is a very good way of attracting new people. I have attracted a few people who now admire this social media, so job done .Hopefully this will encourage you to do so.
