The Frozen North
Winter Wonderland!! What a beautiful site to start the day with!
Today, on my way to work (wishing I was somewhere warm :)it was much better weather conditions than yesterday.
Some pictures from yesterday's winter storm.
We've had more snow than usual this year, due to solar activity in terms of sunspots which have decreased. As I get older, I crave the warmth and beaches. But it's sunny days like this where the snow is so heavy that it bends branches and there is not a breath of wind, which makes me not mind the Frozen North.
Well, if I can't have the Corinthian Gulf as a backdrop, the beauty of the Frozen North on a sunny day will have to do!

I guess there wasn't too much beauty in the eye of this beholder back then LOL

That's so beautiful 😍 id love to visit snow but I've lived in Florida most my life I don't think I could ever live in it. Thanks for sharing

Im from Sweden and it looks excactly like what we have in my city aswell.
We have had very much snow in a few days, but i love snow and cold so it fits me perfectly.

That does look a little chilly! Love the icicles... They always remind me of some sort of monster teeth. That last landscape looks like a cold, cold morning.
Haha, is that as bad as texting and driving? It looks as if you didn't have to share the road with anyone, anyway!
It's nice seeing all those snow-covered conifers, too! We have mostly hardwoods here.

That would have been an awesome place to have a drone follow your vehicle. Cold and battery life, though...

Wow the snow looks so beautiful @steem-samiam but the roads arent looking to great. Snowy highways are the worst... but the last snow picture is so nice because the snow looks so fluffy

I love the icicle shot!
Snowfall looks great in pictures especially when taken well. But it's certainly a serious pain when it lasts for more than a day and when it finally melts... :)
