Step Four
After login click the "Workers" tab, then click "New Worker". Give any free name, then click "Create".
Step Five
Open the "GUIMiner" software you opened earlier. In the "Server" option, select "Other". Then in the "Host" option, fill in "sg.stratum.slushpool.com". Then in the "Port" option, enter "3333". In the "Username" option, fill in "(Username SlushPool) (Point) (Username Worker)". In the "Password" option, fill in anything free. For example you can see the picture below.
Step Six
In the "Device" option, specify the hardware to be used. In the "Affinity CPU" option, give a check for the largest number and the rest emptied. If all is, click "Start Mining".

Interesting post, but I prefer using NiceHash, and the best card to use is a "1080 Ti" graphics card. Each card pulls about $5-10 per day. Two cards will give you decent play money, what would be fun is to build a much larger system, say 10 cards, but that's an investment and with BTC dropping, its making it hard to mine that, so mining other crypto altcoins are probably best.
