Tradescantia pallida. This is one of the easiest plants to grow and propagate that I've studied. Very resistant to direct sunlight, doesn't need much nutrients and watering, but with the best care you will get better results. Just by chopping off a piece of the plant you can bury it pretty much anywhere (not too deep though) and you will get many more in no time. Even without cutting stems of it, lots of runners/new stems will sprout from the plant. This one has a bright solid purple color and in this photo you can see its beautiful flower.
