Bitcoin Segwit2x soft fork has locked in, and will start to activate tomorrow as long as enough miners support it, and right now it is currently above 90 percent.

Eternity (ENT) seems like an up and coming competitor for anonymous coins like Zcash, Dash, and Monero.

Conclusion:

It seems like with Segwit being locked in there is confidence building back in the crypto community, and like Dan said recently "The tide raises all ships.." so we can assume everything else including STEEM will hopefully start seeing more people coming in with all of the new people around the world coming into crypto!
