据当地老一辈的人说，这座塔原先是当地的一个大蓄水池，建于1885年。由于在1889年至1895年，河水泛滥，塔周围的土壤开始变得松软而开始倾斜。
过后，他们把水抽干，一直保留至今……

Very nice picture, i am looking forward to visit Pisa some time soon. The leaning tower is on my list of architectural Photography.
We were only there for like an hour because it was a day tour. I hope to go there again as well! I think there are a lot of other architectures in Pisa that are worth visiting.
